Governor of Assam, PB Acharya has stated that universities should act as a catalyst and epicenter of knowledge and a centre for societal development. Acharya said this during his meeting with the Vice Chancellors of the various universities of Assam and the research scholars along with their guides on the researches carried out in tea gardens and the tea garden workers in Raj Bhawan on August 9.
