Internship Programme

 

At the CEC Internship Programme, you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and build a strong foundation on rights based developmental work. It will provide you valuable work experience and an improved learning curve in a vibrant, diverse and process driven setting, allowing your talents to flourish.

Eligibility Criteria:

We are looking for young, enthusiastic, and inquisitive minds with a bachelor’s degree in any field to work with us on the core issues of labour and other cross cutting areas.

Responsibilities:

As an intern, you will assist a team or team member in action research, proposal writing or develop new ideas that drive the organization’s mission and vision. The internship will entail primary or secondary research; travelling (if required); critical analysis; preparing constructive reports and innovatively address the developmental challenges on the ground.

Time Commitment:

You can work for a minimum of one month to a year as an intern with CEC.

Other Details:

  • Interns are expected to submit a report of their work to CEC at the end and make a presentation, if required.
  • CEC awards a certificate at the end of the term.

About the Organization:

Centre for Education and Communication (CEC), founded in 1982, is a labour resource centre which focuses on research, campaign and multi-stakeholder engagements. It supports key concepts, ideas and policies that enhance dignified and sustainable livelihood options for workers, in particular informal workers and small producers.
