External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj directed the envoy to Saudi Arabia to rescue 29 Indian workers belonging to Telangana, after IT and NRI affairs minister KT Rama Rao sought her intervention in the case. Swaraj asked ambassador Ahmad Javed to initiate action for the workers’ release from the Saudi company. "Javed - Plz help the Indian workers and send a report to me and Mr. K T Rama Rao," Swaraj tweeted.
