CEC Exchange - Sustainable Livelihood Initiative
The focus of this department is exclusively on experimental initiatives that CEC has undertaken with small tea producers with the objective of providing sustainable livelihood opportunities for the poor primary producers in India by intervening in the market. The ongoing programmes are Sustainable Livelihood for Small Tea Growers and Traditional Bamboo Workers. |
 |
In the coming Triennium, CEC is planning to work among leather workers, augmenting their capacities to run production centres. We will also be exploring possibilities of integrating small coffee growers into the process. This department will also address brand development of ‘Just Tea’, enhance the brand, production and marketing by small tea growers
