Information & Communication Systems

The Department plays a key role in integrating and streamlining of four functions of Documentation and Information Services, Communication and Publication, Systems, and Labour Features. It facilitates in producing Labour News Features in English and Hindi and deals with the documentation, information technology aspects and publication of research studies and campaign materials required for the organization. The streamlining has become necessary in the context of digitising of information and the possibilities of dissemination through unconventional methods. It is expected that better coordination among these services would increase the efficiency and productivity of the organisations as a whole.
